The opening week of the 2023 LCS left us all scratching our heads. Team Liquid was 0-2, TSM and CLG were 2-0, and Evil Geniuses looked off. Nothing made sense, which to be fair, is not uncommon of esports and especially of pro League of Legends. Week two, on the other hand, offered something of a correction as things shifted back towards what we expected them to be in our preseason predictions

Match of the Week - FlyQuest vs. Evil Geniuses

Without a doubt, the most anticipated match of the third week of the LCS 2023 Spring Split will be undefeated FlyQuest taking on Evil Geniuses. EG was chosen by many, including us, as the frontrunner for North America. However, many also chose FlyQuest as the second best team in the league.

There'll be a lot of interesting storylines to keep an eye on in this game. Prince vs. FBI in the bottom lane could be the beginning of a storied rivalry. Spica vs. Inspired should be fascinating to watch, but my eyes will be on Jojopyun and Vicla in the mid lane.
