How to Earn Medallions

Just like in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1, players can earn Medallions by defeating an NPC boss. In Chapter 5 Season 2, there are four bosses, Zeus, Ares, Cerberus and Hades. These can all be found in a different part of the Fortnite map.

All Medallion Locations

Below is a map of where the Medallions can be found in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, players will need to defeat the boss who will spawn here each and every game.

All Medallion Locations in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2
  • Zeus – Mount Olympus
  • Ares – Brawler's Battleground
  • Cerberus – Grim Gate
  • Hades – The Underworld

All Medallion Abilities in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

Each Medallion in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 will give the player a different ability:

  • Zeus – Provides a speed boost
  • Ares – Increases damage dealt
  • Cerberus – Grants a dash movement
  • Hades – Siphon (heals you when eliminating a player)

However, while holding a Medallion, you will be visible on the minimap to all of the other players in the game. This means that it can be risky to hold a Medallion, even though it gives you a very useful ability. This increases the more Medallions you hold, meaning if you have all four, there is almost no chance of hiding from enemy players.

You can also earn Medallions the easy way, by eliminating a player who already has one. If a player with a Medallion is eliminated, they will drop it for the next player to pick up. However, some players in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 prefer to roll without one, so you might be lucky enough to find one laying on the floor.
