Weapon Bunkers in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2: Locations & How to Open
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 has brought a ton of new content, and with the new theme being Greek mythology, the entire map has changed. This brings four new incredible POI’s, and a brand new Battle Pass with loads of incredible skins and camos.
Players are already familiar with Bunkers in Fortnite Battle Royale, and there was even speculation around them in some of the earliest seasons. However, these Bunkers are some of the most useful locations in Chapter 5 Season 2, as they include Mod Benches, and loads of Epic Loot for yourself and your teammates. These Bunkers will be hotly contested by other players however, as they’re only accessible after the third storm circle closes.

The Bunkers are spread around the new Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 map, and can be seen on the minimap following the closure of the third storm circle.

There are nine Bunker locations on the new Fortnite map, and most can be found near to a POI:
- Slightly southwest of The Underworld
- Slightly southwest of Grim Gate
- South of Pleasant Piazza
- West of Lavish Lair
- East of Lavish Lair
- South of Classy Courts
- South of Fencing Fields
- Northwest of Mount Olympus
- North of Mount Olympus
How to Open a Bunker in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2
To access these Bunkers, you’ll need to wait until the third storm circle has closed. This might mean that some of the bunkers are out of limits, and this will make them much more competitive to the players left.
However, once opened, you can enter the Bunker which will include chests, a Weapon Bench, and much more. Simply interact with the Weapon Bench to start modifying your weapon, and potentially set yourself up for a Victory Royale!
