FlyQuest dismantle 100 Thieves in LCS 2023 Spring playoffs
FlyQuest has officially booked their ticket to Raleigh, North Carolina following their 3-0 victory over 100 Thieves. To be frank, this series was not close whatsoever.
Many were expecting this series to be a highlight reel of many outplays, but that was far from what happened.
100 Thieves botlaner Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng was on Jinx duty for the first three games and it was not working at all against FlyQuest.While the second game felt as if it would be 100 Thieves’ opportunity to tie up the best-of-series 1-1, it was not meant to be. FlyQuest’s immaculate team fighting was too crisp for 100 Thieves botlane to scale to the late game.
With this win, FlyQuest is officially the first team to qualify for Finals weekend in Raleigh, North Carolina. They will move forward into the Upper Bracket Finals against the winner of Cloud9/CLG for a spot in the Grand Final.
Meanwhile, this loss for 100 Thieves drops them down into the Lower Bracket. They will look towards their series against Golden Guardians if they hope to keep their Spring season alive.
How to watch LCS 2023 Spring
100 Thieves and FlyQuest will have a few days to relax before they move forward into the Lower and Upper Brackets, respectively.
For now, LCS fans will look towards the matchup between Cloud9 and CLG taking place tomorrow to see who joins FlyQuest as the second team going to LCS Finals Weekend in Raleigh, North Carolina. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the LCS 2023 Spring Split unfolds.
