Xenial Joins Sentinels for ALGS Apex Pro League
- Beau "RamBeau" Sheidy retired from professional Apex Legends, leaving the Sentinels in the middle of the Pro League season.
- The Sentinels picked Angello "Xenial" Cadenas from Oxygen Esports to be their third, filling RamBeau's vacant spot.

Since the departure of Beau "RamBeau" Sheidy from the Sentinels Apex Legends Global Series squad, the team has been trialing several players to find their third. With the ALGS Pro League halfway finished and returning on April 16th, the Sentinels have announced their third member, Angello "Xenial" Cadenas.
Xenial to the Rescue
Xenial joins the Sentinels after parting ways with Oxygen Esports, who have yet to announce his replacement for the ALGS Pro League. Xenial has also played for legacy organization Spacestation Gaming. He’ll be joining in-game leader Cole "Rkn" Prommel and Keon "Keon" Berghout on the Sentinels.
This isn’t Xenial’s first time in the ALGS as he took 5th place with Spacestation Gaming in 2021 at the ALGS Championship in North America. He also has a number of first place finishes throughout B Tier competition and some notable performances in A Tier tournaments as well.
Xenial is likely set to play Valkyrie for the teams composition, but whether or not he’ll be the ingredient they need to rise through the ranks in what remains of the Apex Pro League remains to be seen. The Sentinels were struggling even with RamBeau on their roster and now they have only two matches to find synergy with their newest recruit.
Sentinels Struggling
The Sentinels have been having a pretty rough go of it since the Apex Legends Pro League started back in early March. They’re currently sitting in 17th place out of 30 with 32 points. All isn’t lost as the 10th place team is only 10 points ahead of them. But Group A where Sentinels are only have two more match days whereas both Group B and C have three.
To add insult to injury, their former third man, RamBeau, announced his retirement and left the team at the end of March. Something that didn’t come as a surprise as he’d been dealing with issues in his personal life, including the loss of a family member. But, on April 13th, RamBeau announced he was joining DarkZero Esports, a team currently in 5th place in the ALGS Pro League and a back-to-back ALGS Championship roster.
Whatever RamBeau’s reasons for leaving and returning may have been, it’s still got to be a hard pill to swallow for his former team members. Something the CEO himself, Phillip "ImperialHal" Dosen recently commented on during one of his streams when asked about the RamBeau situation.
The ALGS Returns on April 16th
The NA ALGS Pro League returns April 16th with the last matches on April 23rd, 29th and 30th. The finals will take place on May 7th. Tune in on the official Apex Legends Twitch and YouTube Channel.
