Following Fnatic’s victory at VCT 2023: LOCK//IN, all 30 teams across the Pacific, EMEA, and Americas regions competed against one another in their respective regional leagues. Now, that list of teams has widdled down to just 12 as they look to become VCT Masters Tokyo Champions.

When Does VCT Masters Tokyo Start?

VCT Masters Tokyo will begin on June 11, 2023. 12 teams from four different regions will compete in Tokyo, Japan as they look to become the second international VALORANT champion of the VCT 2023 season.

VCT Masters Tokyo will span across 14 days and the second VCT international event of 2023 will conclude with a Grand Final on June 25, 2023.

VCT Masters Tokyo will feature 12 of the best VALORANT teams across the Americas, EMEA, and Pacific Leagues, as well as two teams from China.

What’s the Format for VCT Masters Tokyo?

The format for VCT Masters Tokyo will consist of a group stage before moving forward into a double-elimination bracket, similar to VCT 2022: Masters Reykjavik. Here, teams will compete against each other until one team is left crowned the VCT Masters Tokyo champion.

What Venue is VCT Masters Tokyo In?

VCT Masters Tokyo will take place at the Tipstar Dome Chiba for the majority of VCT Masters Tokyo. Teams will compete at the Tipstar Dome Chiba all throughout the group stage and the playoffs up until there are only three teams left in the tournament. Those three remaining teams will then compete in the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, one of Japan’s largest venues.

Those interested in watching VCT Masters Tokyo live in person will be able to do so throughout the entire 14-day duration of VCT Masters Tokyo as both the Tipstar Dome Chiba and Makuhari Messe will feature a crowd.
