Following Fnatic’s victory over LOUD in the Grand Final of VCT 2023: LOCK//IN, all attention has now shifted over to the three regional VCT leagues about to start in two weeks' time.

For viewers in North and South America, all eyes will be on the 10 Americas teams set to compete against one another for a spot at VCT Masters Tokyo in June and VCT Champions 2023 Los Angeles in August. Here is everything we know so far about VCT: Americas League and all the information you need to be made aware of before the action all begins.

When does VCT: Americas League begin?

The VCT 2023: Americas League will begin with an opening weekend from April 1 to 3, as all ten teams will have their first opportunities to make a mark following the conclusion of VCT 2023: LOCK//IN.

The VCT: Americas League will span across a regular season where teams will face off in a single round-robin featuring a best-of-three format for all matches. The matches will all be played on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday every week apart from the VCT: Americas League super week and the final week. The super week of play will span across six days, from Thursday to Tuesday.

The regular season will take place from April 1-May 20 while the six-team double-elimination bracket playoffs will take place from May 23-28.

There, the top six teams will progress from the regular season into a double-elimination playoff. By the end of the playoffs, the top three teams will represent the Americas League at VCT Masters Tokyo and VCT Champions 2023.

However, teams that fail to qualify for Tokyo and Champions through the VCT: Americas League will have one last opportunity to qualify for VCT Champions 2023 through a last-chance qualifier.
