Evil Geniuses have taken down the 2022 VALORANT World Champions en route to a rematch with Paper Rex in the VCT Champions 2023 Grand Final.

Evil Geniuses got off to a solid start at the beginning of the VALORANT Champions 2023 Lower Bracket Final as they soared to an early 2-0 lead over LOUD.
LOUD came back in map three on Evil Geniuses' map pick of Pearl to bring the series to a fourth game where the Brazilian squad soared to an early 9-3 lead in the first half.
That lead formulated into one final game on Bind where only one VCT Americas League would be left standing for tomorrow’s final match against Paper Rex.
In game five, Evil Geniuses gained the upper hand as they accumulated an early 7-5 lead over LOUD on Bind. Evil Geniuses then took that lead to grab their 13th round win as they booked their ticket to the VALORANT Champions Grand Final.
With this victory over LOUD, Evil Geniuses have secured a rematch against Paper Rex in the VALORANT Champions 2023 Grand Final. The EG vs Paper Rex VALORANT Match will take place tomorrow August 26, 2023, at 12pm PT where one of these two teams will be named the next VALORANT World Champion.
