Starwatch Galactic Rescue is here and it’s, well, it might not be the most balanced. But Overwatch 2 players are huge fans of the skins that come with the limited time mode. Here’s how to get all of the Starwatch skins before the event ends.
Get Every Starwatch Skin in Overwatch 2
The similarities between Overwatch 2’s Starwatch event and Star Wars is not lost on anyone. In fact, it has made it even more enjoyable, especially so close to May the Fourth. The skins are just as inspired, making them very desirable.
Here’s how to unlock every skin available during the Starwatch event:
- Asteroid Wrecking Ball - Complete five Starwatch event challenges
- Annihilator Bastion - Reach tier 10 in the free Season 4 Battle Pass
- Infinite Seer Mercy - Reach tier 70 in the free Season 4 Battle Pass
- Space Prince Lucio - Reach tier 1 in the premium Season 4 Battle Pass
- Extraterrestrial Winston - Reach tier 20 in the premium Season 4 Battle Pass
- Intergalactic Smuggler Ashe - Reach tier 50 in the premium Season 4 Battle Pass
- Bonebreaker Doomfist - Reach tier 60 in the premium Season 4 Battle Pass
- Galactic Emperor Sigma - Reach tier 80 in the premium Season 4 Battle Pass

Unfortunately, many of these skins are going to cost you. As you can see, many are in the premium battle pass ($9.99) or require other purchases.
But there are still some free skins in the mix, including Asteroid Wrecking Ball. You can also get the Infinite Annihilator Bastion and Infinite Seer Mercy skins in the free battle pass. But you’ll have to reach level 70 of the battle pass to get Mercy.

What is the Starwatch Overwatch 2 Event?
Starwatch Galactic Rescue is a limited time game mode in Season 4. It has two teams of four reworked Overwatch 2 heroes — the Watchers and the Infinite Empire — fighting to complete various objectives.
But the teams unfortunately don’t feel too balanced. The Mercy-boosted Bastion just seemed extremely lopsided and others just felt that Baptiste and Lucio aren’t great healers for Winston and Doomfist.
“It feels like they picked the skins first and made the teams based on what the artists’ skin ideas looked like,” said one player. “The game mode exists to sell the skins. Concept is cool and different, though I’m not a Star Wars fan. But I can see why people would really like this.”
Starwatch skins will be available between May 9 and May 22.
