Coachella Aesthetic Taking Over Fortnite
Coachella is one of the biggest music festivals of the year, featuring the most popular musicians of 2023 performing in a desert environment full of art installations and over 250,000 attendees. But Coachella has also become well known for its wild fashion and the unique outfits that celebrities and fans have been spotted wearing.
Now, Coachella’s one-of-a-kind style is coming to Fortnite.
Coachella Island Vibes
Coachella Island is all about music, art, and good vibes. Coachella Island is a virtual world that lives within Discover, embodying the aesthetic of Coachella. This includes Alliance Studios’ recreating the environment at Coachella, from palm trees to the iconic Coachella Ferris Wheel. While there are activities to take part in, there’s no denying that the true draw of Coachella Island is feeling like you’re part of the intoxicating celebration.

In Fortnite’s version of Coachella, there will be an Art Park with reimagined art installations inspired by what you’d find at Coachella. There are team-based minigames to participate in. And Porter Robinson will also be performing on the island.

Coachella Aesthetic Comes to Fortnite
Even if you’re not visiting Coachella Island, you can bring the Coachella aesthetic to whatever match you’re in thanks to new skins available in the Item Shop. These items will appear in the shop tonight!
Sunset Alto is all about summer vibes. It features a SoCal-style t-shirt with a psychedelic cactus design, beaded bracelets, and futuristic sunglasses. Included with the outfit is the Crystalline Cactus Pickaxe and Airflow Vibes Back Bling . They all have alternative rave-inspired looks that are activated with music.

Desert Dawn Lyric is a chill skin that makes the wearer look Instagram ready, inspired by desert skies and influencer vacations to the desert. The Airflow Vibes Back Bling and Electropalm Staff Pickaxe come along with the skin. Like Sunset Alto, they all are music-reactive, revealing a witchy alternative.
