Call of Duty League 2024 Season Schedule Leaked
The Call of Duty League schedule seems to change every single year. Whether that be the start date, the format, or even the number of Majors, we can expect to see something new every single year. We expect a full announcement from the Call of Duty League on November 2nd, but here’s what the leak from Dexerto’s Jake Hale tells us before then.
CDL 2024 Leaked Schedule
- Major 1 (Hosted by Boston Breach)
- Qualifiers: December 8 – January 21 (three-week break for holidays)
- LAN: January 25-28
- Major 2
- Qualifiers: February 16 – March 17
- LAN: March 21-24
- Major 3
- Qualifiers: April 12 – May 12
- LAN: May 16-19
- Major 4
- Qualifiers: May 24 – June 16
- LAN: June 20-23
- Call of Duty Championship: July 11-14
This leaked schedule sees just four Major tournaments played with the Championship Weekend happening in July. However, the qualifiers seem to be four weeks instead of three, seeing teams play seven qualifier matches instead of five. This will give us a clearer understanding of where teams sit in the standings ahead of the LAN Majors.
It is also reported that LAN points will be increased, making the Major matches even more important. There will also be a change to the LAN Major schedule, with the Winners Final being the second game played on a Sunday which will result in less downtime before the Grand Final.
It seems as though only Major 1 has a confirmed location in Boston. However, there are a number of teams in the running for hosting events, including the usual hosts of OpTic Texas and Toronto Ultra.
So far we have seen almost all of the Call of Duty League teams confirm rosters for the 2024 season, with the Carolina Royal Ravens, Las Vegas Legion and Los Angeles Guerrillas the only teams yet to name their roster. However, some leaks and rumours surround their rosters, with Las Vegas Legion reportedly set to sign Eli ‘Standy’ Bentz, Dillon ‘Attach’ Price and more, while veteran James ‘Clayster’ Eubanks appears to be heading to Carolina.
Of course, the Call of Duty League can still make changes to this schedule before the start of the season. However, with Modern Warfare 3’s launch just two weeks away, we’re getting closer and closer to the return of the CDL.
