Best Hurricane Ranked Play Loadout: Build and Attachments
With the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Season 03 update, new guns are beginning to be used throughout Ranked Play. The shift is forcing players away from the original metas to try different weapons. With changes and updates to the game, attachments to weapons can vastly improve its performance and your overall gameplay. Here's how you should build the Hurricane to get the most out of it.
*This build with its attachments is meant for CoD MW2 Ranked Play but also works for Warzone and Multiplayer, where tuning is allowed.
Muzzle
Bruen Pendulum
While there are slight reductions to ADS speed, the improvements to the vertical and horizontal recoil control will help you hit shots from mid-to-long range. The Bruen Pendulum will have your aim smooth like butter while you make up for the speed reductions with other attachments.
Underbarrel
FSS Sharkfin 90
A universal underbarrel that can be used with any gun and is used by many Pro Call of Duty League players. To be an SMG player, you need speed and quickness to fly around the map and win close-range gunfights. The Sharkfin offers no reductions while improving your accuracy.
Barrel
FSS Cannonade 16"
If you want to delete your opponents from any range on the map, the FSS Cannonade 16" will make that happen. The improvement in the Hurricane's damage range and bullet velocity this barrel offers, combined with the smooth recoil, makes this SMG very dangerous.
Stock
Ravage-8 / Demo Quicksilver Stock
There are two options for stocks, depending on your playstyle. If you need to improve your aim, the Ravage-8 is the way to go. While your sprint speed takes a knock, the improvement to the aim of the Hurricane is a tremendous boost to winning more gunfights. If you play with more speed and can deal with the recoil, add the Demo Quicksilver Stock, which will have you flying around the map and allowing you to ADS quickly.
Rear Grip
XTen Grip
If you are looking for better recoil and aiming stability from your attachments, this is where you can improve your speed with the Hurricane. The Xten Grip gives you the sprint-to-fire speed and ADS speed you're looking for as an SMG. With a minimal hit to the recoil control, this is the only grip you should equip.
