The 2023 Call of Duty League Champs bracket is set to begin on Thursday, June 15, at 3:00 pm est. There has been a lot to discuss and look forward to as we embark on the biggest week of the year.

With endless possibilities of outcomes to take place, there are several storylines to be on the lookout for. Here are five to know before Champs begins.

Is Snoopy the Real Deal for Boston Breach?

The heavily criticized and surprising move made was Boston bringing in a young Challengers player after the final Major. Snoopy has taken the place of Vivid in the starting lineup, which can go one of two ways—he's either going to fry and upset OpTic, or the teams headed to the Losers Bracket and the moves going to be questioned. Whatever the outcome, we get a look at an exciting potential star.

Can Minnesota Rokkr Keep It Up?

After struggling throughout the middle of the season, Minnesota made the move to bring Fame into the starting lineup and moved Attach to the bench. Things still weren't clicking, so they decided to bring Attach back, sending Afro to the bench, and what a move that turned out to be. With just a few days worth of practice together, Minnesota surprised everyone with a top 3 finish at Major 5. With more time to prepare and gain chemistry together, Minnesota finds themselves in an interesting spot and could make a deep run at Champs.

Is HyDra the New MVP Front-Runner?

The only player to eclipse 1,000 kills this season (1,006), and with the top K/D (1.28) in the CDL, HyDra is in Champs form and looking to carry New York to back-to-back Championships after winning Major 5. Heading into the most important week of the year, HyDra has put himself at the forefront of the MVP race. With all the talks of Simp, aBeZy, and Scrap being the MVPs, HyDra could solidify his case with a deep run at Champs.

Can OpTic Texas Bounce Back After a Tough Major 5?

After finishing 2nd at Major 3 and Major 4 and a flawless Stage 5, OpTic went and crapped the bed on the Main Stage at Major 5, leaving a lot of questions looming around the team. Can they finish? Are they onliners? Are teams figuring them out? Well, there's no doubting the talent of the team, and many are quick to forget the stellar runs they've made. If there's any team that's going to bounce back from adversity, it's OpTic.

Can Los Angeles Thieves Return to Form?

After winning Major 4, LAT was looking like the 2022 Champs form of themselves. Then a brutal Stage 5, which left them in the Losers Bracket, brought a whole lot of concerns. They made a respectable run through Major 5, and many are thinking this is a team that can make a run at back-to-back Champs. It's very possible, and how it sounds, they've looked strong in scrims. It all starts with their match against Toronto if they want to prove they're built for a deep run at Champs.
