XDefiant is a brand new FPS game developed by the team at Ubisoft. It features a lot of similarities to other FPS games such as Call of Duty, but puts its own spin on the arena shooter genre. Unfortunately there isn't a confirmed release date for the full game, but the Closed Beta allows players to get a taste of the action. Here’s everything you need to know about the Closed Beta, and how you can get involved.

XDefiant Closed Beta Platforms

The XDefiant Closed Beta is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Unfortunately, there is no version available for the older generation of Playstation and Xbox consoles.

XDefiant Closed Beta Dates

The XDefiant Closed Beta went live on April 13 and will run until April 23. There have been numerous maintenance hours so far, so keep an eye on the XDefiant Twitter for any updates.

XDefiant Closed Beta Rewards

Participating in the XDefiant Closed Beta will give you access to rewards ready for the full release. XDefiant already features an in-game battle pass, but there are also more Twitch Drop rewards for players who are also watching the game.

The in-game battle pass features 10 tiers of items such as weapon and faction skins, with the final reward being the Epic TechX weapon skin.

There are two other Twitch Drop rewards that players can earn through watching streams online:

  • D50 “Violet” weapon skin (1 hour)
  • MK 20 SSR “Violet” weapon skin (1 hour)
