World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Trading Post Rewards for January 2024 includes; Mounts, Pets, Toys, Transmogs and the Golden Mobile Timepiece
- Blizzard announces a slew of new Trading Post Rewards coming in January 2024 including the Golden Mobile Timepiece and a color-shifting transmog set.
- Two new mounts will be added with the recolored Golden Pterrordax and the brand new Jeweled Copper Scarab.
- This month will also feature new activities to help players who are behind on their progress bar catch up in order to grab all of the rare rewards!
Since its introduction in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight the Trading Post has been a source of rare and wonderful pieces of armor and cosmetics for transmog enthusiasts and casual players alike. In January of 2024 even more amazing pieces of transmog will be available through the Zen’shiri Trading Posts in Grommash Hold Orgrimmar or the T&W Trading Post in Mage District in Stormwind.
Among the new rewards players can expect an assortment of armor, weapons, cloaks and more, plus a non-combat pet, two mounts and for those who have kept up on farming their tender, a new timepiece and a new color-shifting transmog — the Burden of Unrelenting Justice set.

January Trading Post Bonus Rewards
Also new to the Trading Post in the new year are the two more prestigious items, the Golden Mobile Timepiece, which is the bonus item for January. The Golden Mobile Timepiece is a fashionable, arcane watch that players can equip to their wrist (so long as their current gloves or armor doesn’t cover it up). You can also receive a baby moose pet named Buttercup.

To earn a monthly bonus reward from the Trading Post in World of Warcraft complete activities to fill the bar at the top of the Traveler’s Log found in the Adventure Guide (Shift-J).
The second item which will only be granted to players who have earned every single bonus reward since the Trading Post was added in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, is the Burden of Unrelenting Justice transmog set, a new color-shifting armor set.
Those same players will also receive the non-color shifting versions of the armor, for a total of three new armor sets. Players who missed out don’t need to worry, once they complete 12 months of Trading Posts bonus rewards, it will unlock and they do not need to do so consecutively.

How Does the Trading Post Work?
Each month, WoW players whose account is in good standing and is active, will receive 500 Trader’s Tender (the currency for the Trading Post) from the Collector’s Cache chest. Even if you add game time in the middle of the month, you’ll still get to collect your free 500 Tenders.
By checking the Traveler’s Log found in the Adventure Guide (Shift-J) players will see a list of themed activities and challenges they can complete throughout the month. In this way, they can earn an additional 500 Trader’s Tenders. This can be done through playing the game as normal and doing stuff such as dungeons, battlegrounds and more.
Finally, if the month is drawing to a close and players haven’t gotten one specific item they really wanted. An item can be frozen and will stay in the inventory of the Trading Post until purchased or unfrozen. And of course, you can hang onto Trader’s Tenders and get a leg up on purchasing items in the next month's rotation.
