Riot Games Reveals VALORANT Episode 8 Act 1 Outlaw, Battle Pass, Kuronami Skin Line
The rumors and leaks are true: A new weapon is coming to Episode 8 Act 1. The weapon, known as the Outlaw, will be added to the arsenal when the new Act launches. Here is what to expect when Episode 8 Act 1 drops, including the new weapon, skin line, and battle pass.
When is Episode 8 Act 1?
VALORANT Episode 8 Act 1 is coming on January 9, 2024. With such a close release date, we are getting a ton of official information right from Riot Games.
What is the Outlaw Gun in VALORANT?
The Outlaw is the first weapon to be introduced to the arsenal since VALORANT launched. Just as the leaks have pointed to since they first appeared back in the fall, the Outlaw is a “high impact, double-barreled sniper rifle” that developers built for “do or die playmaking.”
The Outlaw will cost 2400 Credits and is meant to deal massive damage when in the right hands.
According to a Riot Games spokesperson, the release of the new weapon will be commemorated with the Throwback Pack, an Outlaw bundle that will feature some of VALORANT’s most popular skin lines. You’ll be able to get Outlaw skins from Prism//Reloaded, Ego, and more.

VALORANT Episode 8 Act 1 is bringing a brand new skin line. The Kuronami skin line was previously leaked and has now been confirmed, featuring glowing blue accents against a silver body. The Kuronami skin line will be available for:

The finishing animation has also been revealed for the Kuronami skin line, which features a very dramatic weather change.
