To get into the DLC your first step will be buying the expansion. Pricing can vary depending on your region but in the US the base price for the DLC is currently $34.99 USD and can also be purchased in a bundle with either Scarlet or Violet for $94.99 USD.

Some players have reported having trouble finding how to download the DLC. The process is supposed to be easy but Nintendo certainly created some unnecessary steps for their player base.
