Full Overwatch Champions Series Schedule Revealed

From February to November, you can expect Overwatch action across NA, EMEA, and Asia. Here is how to follow along with the OWCS.

The Overwatch Champions Series was announced in January 2024, bringing hope to the competitive Overwatch 2 community. Now, the full calendar for 2024 has been released. Here's how to follow along with the OWCS action this year. 

OWCS 2024 Schedule

The Overwatch Champions Series 2024 will start on February 2024 and conclude with the Finals in November 2024.

We learned earlier in the year that the Major in May is DreamHack Dallas from May 31-June 2 while the Finals will occur during DreamHack Stockholm from November 22-24. 

OWCS Format

The Qualifiers this month will have a total of nine rounds. From there, the top 16 teams will make it to a Group Stage to find the top two teams from each group. These teams will advance to the first Main Event. The Main Event will have a double-elimination format. 

Overwatch 2 Community Reacts to Full OWCS Schedule

It's safe to say that the Overwatch 2 community is not happy with Blizzard right now. Many responded to the full schedule tweet with frustration over Blizzard's choices up until this point. One of the biggest complaints was them letting go of caster and analyst Soe Gschwind along with many other well-known talents.
