TSM Announces Collab With Full Metal Alchemist

TSM teamed up with Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood for the latest in a growing list of esports x anime collabs

Legacy esports brand, TSM, announced a new anime-themed merch collaboration nearly a year after dropping “My Hero Academia” clothing. This time, TSM are partnering with Crunchyroll to release Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood gear which includes hoodies, shirts and accessories. The collaboration comes in a strange year for TSM as they are still looking to re-enter the League of Legends space after selling their LCS franchise to Shopify Rebellion.

Some of Fullmetal Alchemist's themes are represented through the TSM gear heavily. Transmutation circles and symbology from the show is present in most of the pieces. Along with those more obscure elements, quotes from the FMA:B are emblazoned across nearly every article. Almost every piece falls in line with TSM’s monochrome branding, with only the “Rain Tee” containing a color other than black or white.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is lauded as one of the best anime of all time. Released in 2009, follows two brothers as they search for the means of restoring the parts of their bodies they lost in a failed attempt to revive their mother. The show is typified by its references to the occult and the concepts of alchemy as a whole. With elements like resurrection, The Philosopher's Stone and Homunculi serving as major aspects of the story.

The new collab comes as a silver lining for TSM as according to posts on X, more members of the TSM staff were laid off this month. And as it stands there are no rumblings on which region the team will return to for pro League of Legends play.
