When Is the Six Invitational 2024?
The Six Invitational 2024 will have top players competing from February 13 to 25, 2024.
Here’s the structure:
Groups: February 13th - 17th - not open to public
Playoffs - Part 1: February 19th - 21st - not open to public
Playoffs - Part 2: February 23rd - 25th - open to the public at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera
Six Invitational Format
The official R6 Esports page has outlined how the tournament will be formatted. The Group Stage will have 20 teams from the top of the Global Standings competing in four groups of five. All teams will play each other once and the four first teams in each group will advance to the Playoffs.
Sixteen teams total will qualify for the Playoffs. They will compete in a double elimination bracket, with all matches being BO3. The last six teams remaining will then play in front of a live audience, competing for a chance at the Grand Final, which will b ea BO5 to decide the World Champion.
Where Is the Six Invitational 2024?
What’s interesting about the Six Invitational is that it was originally always located in Montreal, Canada. But now the major tournament is going to start moving to new locations around the world.
In 2024, the location will be Sao Paulo, Brazil. More specifically, the tournament will be held at the Ginasio de Ibirpuera, a sporting arena with indoor seating for up to 10,000 fans. Right now, the event is sold out.

Six Invitational 2024 Teams
There will be 20 teams at the Six Invitational. Here are the teams that have qualified for the major tournament:
- 5 from Brazil: w7m esports, FaZe Clan, Team Liquid, Ninjas in Pyjamas, LOS
- 4 from North America: Soniqs, M80, DarkZero Esports, Spacestation Gaming
- 3 from Europe: G2 Esports, Virtus.pro, Wolves Esports
- 2 from South Korea: DPlus KIA, SANDBOX Gaming
- 2 from MENA: Geekay Esports, Team Falcons
- 2 from SEA: FURY, Bleed Esports
- 1 from Japan: SCARZ
- 1 from Oceania: Team Bliss
Right now, the team to watch is w7m esports, a Brazilian team that won the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen as well as the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta. They are now the only R6 team to have won two majors in a row.
G2 Esports is another squad to keep an eye on. They won the last Six Invitational and have continued to remain a top team. They are currently third in the Global Standings. FaZe Clan is the next team to root for, ranked second in the Global Standings after having a very consistent and dominant season.
