Everything in the Fortnite x TMNT Cowabunga Event
Fortnite's Cowabunga event is here.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover in Fortnite has brought more than originally expected. On top of Shredder joining the fray, Epic has also added weapons and a themed battle pass. Here's everything in the Cowabunga event patch notes.
TMNT Battle Pass Rewards
In order to get some of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle skins you'll need to purchase the Cowabunga Pass, which is separate from this season's battle pass. It features a free and premium track, with 24 unlockable cosmetics if you pay the 1,000 V-Bucks for the latter version.
Some of the most desirable cosmetics in the battle pass are Shredder and Super Shredder. He will be unlocked instantly with a purchase of the premium battle pass. The Super Shredder cosmetic is separate and will cost 11,000 Ooze to unlock.
Epic Games
To get Ooze, you need to complete quests during the duration of the Cowabunga event. Here are the five quests, which will reward you with the Krang Blueprints when they are all complete:
- Stick to the Shadows Quests - Live now
- Gear Up! Quests - February 12 at 9 a.m. ET
- Cowabunga Clash Quests - February 15 at 9 a.m. ET
- Give ‘Em Shell Quests - February 18 at 9 a.m. ET
- Showdown Shred Quests - February 21 at 9 a.m. ET
- Shellebrate Quests - February 24 at 9 a.m. ET
TMNT Mythics In Fortnite
Four new Mythics are now part of the loot pool. You can find them in the usual spots, including Chests, Supply Drops, and Vending Machines.
As fans predicted, here are the Mythic weapons:
- Leonardo's Katanas
- Raphael's Sai
- Michelangelo's Nunchaku
- Donatello's Staff
Cowabunga Event Brings Back Pizza Party and Driftboards
On top of each turtle's iconic weapon, Fortnite is also getting some familiar Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle items.
The first item is the Pizza Party. When you chow down, you get additional health and shield. Save it for the right time or dig in right then and there.
Driftboards are back but they're now TMNT-themed, inspired by the teens' skateboards.
When Does the Cowabunga Event End?
The Fortnite Cowabunga collaboration event is here until February 27 at 9 AM EST. Until then, you can grind the TMNT battle pass and purchase Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael, and April O'Neil in the Item Shop.
