Ready to defeat a dragon? Dragon's Dogma 2 is coming soon. Here's how to play it right when it releases.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the original action role-playing game that centers around Arisen and his quest to defeat a dragon. If you want to be prepared to fight monsters and explore intense political conflicts, here's everything you need to know about Dragon's Dogma 2's release date and more.

Dragon's Dogma 2 Release Date

Dragon's Dogma 2 is set to release on March 22, 2024.

No specific time has been announced but if this release follows Capcom's prior releases, you should expect to be able to play it right when midnight rolls around in your local time zone.

Dragon's Dogma 2 Where to Play

Dragon's Dogma 2 will be released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It won't be on older generation consoles.

Dragon's Dogma 2 File Size

Gamers have been surprised to find out that Dragon's Dogma 2 is just 64.391 GB. The game is pretty expansive but the file size isn't as hefty as expected, especially when compared to other recent releases like Call of Duty, which took up 250 GB. Still, make sure you have the space ahead of the game's release to ensure you can start downloading it immediately.

Dragon's Dogma 2 can be pre-downloaded as early as March 20, 2024 on PC. Xbox players, however, can already pre-download the game. This could take up to eight hours, which is most likely why Xbox players have a head start.
