The Fortnite Summer Escape Quests and Rewards
Fortnite Summer Escape has arrived in the battle royale and it has brought a lot of quests and, of course, rewards.
The Fortnite Summer Escape is one of the most anticipated in-game events every year since it comes with so many free rewards to unlock. Here’s how to complete all of the quests in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3’s Summer Escape.
All Fortnite Summer Escape Quests
Fortnite Summer Escape came out on July 4, 2023, and the first quests have just been released. New quests will come before the event ends on July 18, but here are the quests you can currently complete.
The Quench Quest
- Gain shields (200) - 30,000 XP
- Damage opponents within 45 seconds of getting out of the water after swimming (100) - 30,000 XP
- Swim distance at Sunswoon Lagoon (75) - 30,000 XP
- Eat ice cream cones (5) - 30,000 XP
- Break slap barrels or slurp barrels (10) - 30,000 XP
- Eliminate an opponent under the effects of Frozen or Spicy Ice Cream Cone (1) - 30,000 XP
- Restore health (200) - 30,000 XP
14 Days of Summer Bonus Quests
- Complete Summer Escape Quest (14) - Wild Fronts (Back Bling)
- Complete Summer Escape Quests (18) - Bugsy (Glider)
- Complete Summer Escape Quests (24) - Toasted Coconut (Emote) + Lagoon Escape (Loading Screen)
Upcoming Fortnite Summer Escape Quests Rewards
Epic has confirmed free cosmetic rewards that are coming for future quests. These haven’t been added to the game just yet but new missions are on their way.
Here are some of the rewards you can expect before the event ends:
- Artifact Axe
- Blossom Drop
- Nanners
- Starry Sea
- Treezy
- 900,000 Season XP
Summer Escape Cosmetics
On top of the quest rewards, you can also grab some new and returning summer outfits in the Item Shop.
This includes Opal and Chaos Explorer. Opal is an Uncommon outfit that has a cropped pastel sweater and short shorts. The Chaos Explorer is also an Uncommon outfit but it’s completely different from the colorful and playful Opal with its menacing, glowing eyes and black leather. It’s originally part of the Descent’s Reckoning set.
The Purradise Meowscles outfit is also available until the end of Chapter 4 Season 3. This features a calico cat head on a muscular body, exposed in an open Hawaiian shirt.
Summer Showdown Islands
The Summer Escape event also comes with some festivities, of course. The Summer Showdown islands will be in Discover, featuring selected islands from the Summer Showdown callout. The creator-made islands will require some teamwork so bring a friend. Take down enemies from July 4 to July 18.
