When Is Chapter 5 Season 2?
No official date has been given for Chapter 5 Season 2 but it will most likely be at the beginning of March. The current season is expected to end on Friday, March 8, 2024 so it will likely be immediately after or a few days from then.
Fortnite Odyssey Revealed For Chapter 5 Season 2
Leakers have announced that the upcoming season has a codename "Odyssey" within the game's files. This is accompanied by some leaked skins and other cosmetics that will most likely be in the battle pass, with a Greek mythology theme that matches the codename.
A lot of Fortnite players have been hoping that the game would explore more historical settings so this could be developers responding to this collective desire.
This theme seems to be confirmed by developers in-game. There's currently a character on the map who goes by Odyssey who says: "I can feel an ancient power growing on the island."
This seems like a hint at what's to come.
What Crossovers Are Happening in Chapter 5 Season 2?
A trusted leaker recently shared that an Avatar: The Last Airbender crossover is coming to Chapter 5 Season 2. With the old Nickelodeon show getting so much media attention this year, it seems like this is more than possible.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Prelude Event
Ahead of the start of Chapter 5 Season 2, leakers have stated that a prelude event is likely happening.
Trusted leaker HypeX took to Twitter to explain that there will be an event between Season 1 and Season 2. This event will allegedly feature Pandora's Box opening, revealing "Chaos" mini-events across the map, including storms, tornados, and earthquakes.
The leak also includes something called the "Titan Hand" emerging from lava. This will happen live, showing off dramatic animations like "Final Weapon" and "Thumper."
To make this all happen, HypeX explained that players will have to shoot down Pandora's Box by destroying its chains. This will release the "Chaos" onto the map, beginning the prelude event.
