No org could've teched this.

Yes. We can't believe it either, but Lopez "MKLeo" Perez and Gavin "Tweek" Dempsey, have just signed to Luminosity Gaming and will be competing side by side.

These guys are two of the most talented Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players in the world. This recent signing with esports organization Luminosity has sparked crazy excitement, memes and anticipation among the Smash community.

The MKLeo Lore

In case you accidentally rolled into this article, MKleo is widely considered to be one of, if not the best Smash Ultimate players of all time. He's won countless major tournaments like Evo & Genesis, and is known for his incredible ability to adapt to various playstyles. Leo even won the recent Ludwig Smash Invitational.

So when MKLeo announced his departure from popular esports org T1 in February, it caused quite a stir in the Smash community. The number one Ultimate player was a free agent. Where would he go now? Who would be worthy of the G.O.A.T?

Honestly, we kind of thought there was a chance leo was going to land at FaZe. Seeing as long-time rival and training partner Edgar "sparg0" Valdez had already been a part of the the org since April of 2022, it just seemed like the next viable move.

However, with the volatility of FaZe's current state, I'll simply have to hope that an alternative timeline exists where the pair get to spar it out under the same name.

The Future of Competitive SSBU

With the signing of MKLeo and Tweek to Luminosity, I'd say this is a major coup for the organization. Both players bring a wealth of experience and talent to the team, which will undoubtedly make them a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming Smash tournaments. So expect to see that Luminosity eye looming over the competition.

The pairing of these two talented players is sure to create fireworks on the Smash stage for Luminosity. Undoubtedly, fans will be eager to see how they push each other to new heights of excellence.

The addition of MKLeo and Tweek to Luminosity's roster is a clear signal that the organization is serious about competing at the highest level of esports. They're bringing together two of the best Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players in the world and creating a formidable team that will undoubtedly make waves in upcoming tournaments. The Smash community will be eagerly anticipating their debut with Luminosity, and the stage is set for an exciting new chapter in the careers of these two talented players.
