Nick Brawl 2 Tier List - Patch 1.4
It’s been nearly three months since the release of Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 2. Like many modern fighting games the launch period has been a race between player and developer to break characters beyond their intended limits. The meta is finally starting to settle following the 81-page-long patch 1.3 and recent follow-up patch 1.4, which is why we made this tier list to show which characters are coming out on top.
Banned Tier
Garfield
Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 2
An unfortunate bug was introduced in patch 1.4 that allows him to permanently have the sugar rush buff, making him the fastest character in the game with a toolset that takes full advantage of that. In response to this, some tournament organizers have banned Garfield from competition until the bug is addressed. While the community is still debating whether the ban is justified, for now, you can expect Garfield to be taking a nap from tournament play.
S Tier
Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 2
Patrick, El Tigre, Grandma Gertie, Aang, Korra
Characters in S-Tier are those piloted by multiple top players who are making it anywhere from Top 8 to grand finals in tournaments. Everyone in this tier has a consistent combo game and takes full advantage of the recent knockback changes which make stocks end earlier.
Patrick and Aang have by far gotten the biggest boost. Both characters had been slowly making their way up the ranks since release, but recently there has been an explosion of players making frequent top 8 appearances. While both received nerfs in patch 1.4, neither has shown any sign of slowing down.
A Tier

Reptar, Spongebob, Danny Phantom, Rocko, Raphael, Ren & Stimpy, Plankton, Lucy
Moving down into A tier, you have the characters that will make it far in tournaments, but struggle to make it across the finish line. These characters are still very solid choices, however their weaknesses will be exploited as you fight stronger opponents which can make them a frustrating choice.
That being said, if you aren’t aiming to become the best of the best then these characters are fantastic. Many A tier characters have the highest player representation in the game, meaning there’s a wealth of gameplay footage to learn from. Everyone here can put up a fight, and has the potential to shine in the right hands.
B Tier
Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 2
Angry Beavers, Azula, April, Squidward, Gerald, Jenny
B tier is where things start to get tricky. Characters in this tier still need to be respected, but have a narrow set of strengths to play with. Because of this, only the best players are able to make it far in tournaments and even they will struggle to do well consistently.
Characters in the above tiers can often match the strengths of B tier characters without suffering from their weaknesses. If you’re someone with deep attachment to a character or simply don’t care about playing competitively, then choosing a B tier will still allow you to have a fun time brawling.
C Tier

Jimmy Neutron, Raphael, Zim, Ember, Nigel
Finally with C tier, we have characters with significant weaknesses that vastly outweigh their strengths. For the low tier hero, C tier consists of uncommon picks that have been written off by the overall competitive community. If you’re someone who enjoys proving people wrong, or want a way to brag about how much better you are than your opponent, then C tier characters are right for you.
