Warzone Ranked Resurgence Explained: Skill Divisions, SR & More
Season 2 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone is bringing a ton of new content. However, possibly the biggest addition is Warzone’s Ranked mode. Warzone Ranked Resurgence will arrive on February 7, 2024 with the Season 2 update, and will be playable on Fortune’s Keep. Here’s everything you need to know about Skill Divisions and SR in Warzone Ranked Play.
Warzone Ranked Play Skill Divisions
Call of Duty
Warzone’s Ranked Play will feature the same seven Skill Divisions as Modern Warfare 3 Ranked Play. All players will start in Bronze 1, before working their way up the ranks by earning SR. Each Skill Division has three tiers, and players will be reset by three tiers at the end of each season.
- Bronze – 0-899 SR
- Silver – 900-2,099 SR
- Gold – 2,100-3,599 SR
- Platinum – 3,600-5,399 SR
- Diamond – 5,400-7,499 SR
- Crimson – 7,500-9,999 SR
- Iridescent – 10,000 SR minimum
- Top 250 – 10,000+ SR
How Does SR Work in Warzone Ranked?
Skill Rating (SR) works slightly differently in Warzone Ranked compared to Modern Warfare 3 Ranked Play. In Warzone Ranked Resurgence, SR can be earned through kills, assists and placements. However, each match costs SR to enter, so if you don’t perform well enough, you’ll lose SR.
Placement
- Teams Remaining: 14 – SR = 0
- Teams Remaining: 10 – SR = 15
- Teams Remaining: 8 – SR = 30
- Teams Remaining: 6 – SR = 45
- Teams Remaining: 5 – SR = 60
- Teams Remaining: 4 – SR = 80
- Teams Remaining: 3 – SR = 100
- Teams Remaining: 2 – SR = 125
- Teams Remaining: 1 – SR = 150
Kills & assists
- Teams Remaining: 9+ (SR Per Kill/Assist = 5 – SR Per Non-Assisted Kill = 2)
- Teams Remaining: 8 (SR Per Kill/Assist = 7 – SR Per Non-Assisted Kill = 3)
- Teams Remaining: 3 (SR Per Kill/Assist = 15 – SR Per Non-Assisted Kill = 7)
There are also several seasonal SR challenges, which allow players to earn some additional SR quickly.
- First Kill or Assist: +100 SR
- 10 Kills or Assists: +100 SR
- 25 Kills or Assists: +100 SR
- 50 Kills or Assists: +100 SR
- 100 Kills or Assists: +100 SR
- Reach Top 8 Squad: +100 SR
- Reach Top 5 Squad: +100 SR
- Reach Top 3 Squad: +100 SR
- Win a Match: +200 SR
Ranks in Warzone Ranked Resurgence
Just like Modern Warfare 3 Ranked Play, Warzone Ranked Resurgence will also see players have to level up through different ranks. Players can improve their rank by earning stars. Stars are earned based on placement, with players earning one star for a top 8 finish, two for top 5, and three stars for a win.
