LA Thieves Announce Full 2023 CDL Roster
The LA Thieves have been a team of inconsistency since the start of the Call of Duty League, except for the 2021 Call of Duty: Vanguard, and 2022 Modern Warfare 2 season. The past two years have seen the Thieves keep the same roster throughout both years, Sam “Octane” Larew, Kenneth “Kenny” Williams, Zack “Drazah” Jordan and Dylan “Envoy” Hannon were the four mainstays for this time.
However, after Octane retiring, Envoy heading to Toronto Ultra, Drazah leaving for Atlanta FaZe and Kenny ending up on OpTic Texas, this left the LA Thieves with no choice but to completely rebuild.

The LA Thieves will line up with four new players for the 2023 Modern Warfare 3 Call of Duty League season”
- Marcus “Afro” Reid
- Cameron “Cammy” McKilligan
- Daniel “Ghosty” Rothe
- Joseph “JoeDeceives” Romero
This is a smartly built team by the LA Thieves. While it may look extremely young, there is a lot of experience here. With Cammy being the veteran of this team, but Afro also having three years experience in the CDL. JoeDeceives will be heading into his second season in the COD League, while Ghosty will be coming off an outstanding rookie year after joining OpTic Texas midway through last season.
No one knows just how Modern Warfare 3 will play just yet, and who we can expect to be at the top of their game. However, this is a roster with lots of potential. In the Black Ops Cold War season, Cammy was without a doubt one of the best players in the game. Afro has also been seen as a top player since his debut in the League. As one of the most aggressive SMGs in the Call of Duty League, he is not only incredible to watch, but a valuable asset to any roster.
With a number of Call of Duty League teams still yet to announce their rosters for the upcoming 2023 season, it will be interesting to see where the remaining available players go. With a number of talented players still without teams, we are sure to see some interesting squads be built.
