Call of Duty: Mobile is being added to the Snapdragon Pro Series Powered by Samsung Galaxy, the world’s largest multi-title mobile esports league operated by ESL FACEIT Group and Qualcomm, for Year 2.

“Our partnership with Activision brings one of the most popular mobile esports in the world to the Snapdragon Pro Series and allows us to further democratize access to mobile esports while maintaining the prestige and foundation already established by the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship,” said Sebastian Weishaar, President of Esports, ESL FACEIT Group. “We’re looking forward to adding Call of Duty: Mobile to our global lineup of Snapdragon Pro Series titles, offering more opportunities to compete and providing $1.5 million to Call of Duty: Mobile competitors in the 2023 competition year.”

The two-year deal between EFG and Activision allows players worldwide to qualify for both the $1 million Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship this year and a $200,000 Mobile Masters event in early 2024. The addition of Call of Duty: Mobile significantly increases the league’s footprint in North America and expands global competitive opportunities for more than 3 billion mobile gamers worldwide. “With the Snapdragon Pro Series, ESL FACEIT Group and Qualcomm Technologies have created one of the largest, most accessible mobile esports ecosystems in the world, and we’re excited that Call of Duty: Mobile will be a part of it,” said Jeff Gullett, Sr. Director of Production at Activision. “Our partnership with EFG enables Call of Duty: Mobile players of all skill levels to get involved and creates a platform to go from player to global champion.”

As part of a two-year partnership between EFG and Activision, the Snapdragon Pro Series will offer Call of Duty: Mobile across all levels of the Snapdragon Pro Series, with $1.5 million in prize money in the 2023 competition year. The competition starts on April 27 UTC, with in-game qualifiers in all regions.

Season 3 of the Snapdragon Pro Series begins with in-game solo play and team play qualifiers. Competitors will test their skills against other Call of Duty: Mobile players in their region. Top-seeded competitors will then battle through Mobile Open and Mobile Challenge ranks (previously known as Stages 3 and 4 of the Call of Duty: Mobile season) with regional prize pools totaling $300,000. World Champs culminates in an epic in-person final where top teams worldwide compete for the $1 million grand prize in December 2023. Call of Duty: Mobile will return for Season 4 of the Snapdragon Pro Series in Fall 2023 and offer teams a chance to claim a seat at the $200,000 Mobile Masters event in early 2024.
