COD League Boston Breach Major I — Format, Schedule & How to Watch
The Call of Duty League finally heads to LAN this week for Major 1 of the 2024 season, hosted by Boston Breach. All 12 Call of Duty League teams will be heading to Boston, Massachusetts for the first Major of the year, competing for $500,000 over four days. Here’s everything you need to know, including the schedule and format.
Format
The Boston Breach Major I will feature all 12 Call of Duty League teams, competing in a double-elimination bracket. Eight teams will start the Major in the Winner's Bracket, with four in the Lower Bracket. All matches will be best-of-five series up until the Grand Final, which will be a best-of-seven.

Teams to Watch
One of the biggest favorites for Major 1 is Atlanta FaZe. Throughout Major 1 Qualifiers, Atlanta FaZe were victorious in every single match, leaving with a 7-0 record. This undoubtedly makes them one of the favorites, however, Toronto Ultra and New York Subliners only took one loss, so they could be competitive too.
Many fans of OpTic Texas will be cautious heading into Boston Breach Major 1 due to their 4-3 record in the Qualifiers. This is below what many fans expected out of the OpTic lineup of Pred, Shotzzy, Kenny and Dashy. However, OpTic Texas has a history of performing on LAN, and could make a run to the finals.
Lastly, a dark horse for the Major could be the Miami Heretics. They impressed in the Qualifiers and outperformed many fans' expectations. They also have a lot of experience in a LAN setting and were one of the best rosters during the Black Ops 4 season, so they’re no stranger to a Championship Sunday.
How to Watch
COD League Major I, hosted by Boston Breach will be streamed live on YouTube on the COD League Channel. Viewers can also watch various co-streams such as ZooMaa or Scump. With four or five matches on every single day of the tournament, the match days will last six to seven hours without delays.
