Apex Legends just dropped their first trailer for the new Sun Squad Collection Event. It features 24 new cosmetic items and a new Heirloom for Ash. Everytime a collection event is released they usually feature some type of unified theme, such as armored defenders or in this case, a beach party. Which is why fans are finally being treated to some swimsuit skins for fan favorite characters like Loba and Seer.

But they aren’t the only ones! There are a handful of new beach themed skins for several legends. Here are all the skins you can expect in the new Apex Legends Sun Squad Collection Event and they’re absolute fire.

Swimsuit Loba

In Apex Legends, Loba embodies the femme fatale role very well, as a sneaky and sexy thief Loba has never been afraid to use her assets as a form of distraction. She knows she’s gorgeous and it’s part of toolkit that leads people to underestimate her and focus on her, instead of whatever she’s stealing. It’s no surprise that fans would eventually get a swimsuit style skin as they’ve been begging for one for as long as she’s been in the game. (But where’s our Gibby swim trunk skin though?!) The actual Loba swimsuit skin is much more modest than a lot of the fan made ideas and Seer’s beachwear shows more skin than she does.

Swimsuit Seer

Like Loba, Seer see’s all of the beauty and art in the world and most of his skin shows off quite a bit of skin, including his washboard abs. His beachwear skin is no different as he’s sporting some red swim trunks, an open green vest with his iconic housing unit for his microdrones and a straw hat. He’s also got a few blue tattoo-like designs on his arms and lower torso meant to mimic the microdrones he uses during his ultimate and tactical ability. He also comes with a matching Flatline skin that looks like a water gun.

Newcastle Shoreline Defender

Going in the opposite direction as Loba and Seer, Newcastle is armored up as he’s ever been. Though he is showing a bit of skin just above his knees. The armored protector has a reputation to live up to and that’s being read for anything. It makes sense that his theme is being centered around being a lifeguard and even the shield on his back looks more like a flotation device this time around. He’s also got a matching skin for the Havoc that looks like it should be a firefighters super soaker.

Hawaiian Shirt Fuse

Ol’ Fusey is embodying major dad vibe energy more and more with each passing event. This time he’s wearing a Hawaiin shirt, a flower necklace and crown as he gears up for the Sun Squad Collection Event. We expect him to be standing at the grill all day on the Mirage à trois. The only thing missing is that he should be wearing some sandals with socks instead of the yellow beach shoes they have him in.

Mirage’s Scuba Suit

There are a couple characters in Apex Legends who have new skins that are themed more on scuba suits than straight swimsuits. Mirage doesn’t strike me as the kind of guy to actually go scuba diving, but he’d definitely wear some of the gear to make you think he’s the kind of guy to go scuba diving. He’s wearing the top, unzipped just enough to be flirty and tight, short shorts to show off his Storm Point tan. Oh and don’t forget the cute little scuba visor he’ll never use. He’s also got a matching Wingman skin that doesn’t quite fit a water gun theme like the others, but more something a scuba diver might take for protection against sharks.

Catalyst’s Blonde Curls

Catalyst picks up a new collection event Legendary during the Sun Squad event and it works perfectly for a scuba-themed get-up. The tubes from her pack that feed the ferro-fluid are uniquely designed for a skin like this. She’s also sporting a completely new hair-do than fans are used to. She’s ditched the long, straight dark locks for a blonde, Marilyn Monroe-esque look. This is exactly the kind of design changes fans love to see in Collection Event cosmetics. There are certain design aspects of characters that you want to keep in, like her ferrofluid tubes or Mirage’s weird coat things…but don’t be afraid to give Legends an all new look in some other fashion. It helps to really set the skin apart from other Legendary cosmetics.

Ash Underwater Assassin

Finally, along with her new Heirloom the ‘Strongest Link’, Ash gets a brand new legendary skin that fits in right alongside Catalyst and Mirage’s scuba sets. There isn’t a single bad Ash legendary skin in the entire game and the black, green and blue of this one really stands out. It fits her usual sci-fi aesthetic perfectly while still screaming “aquatic”. There isn’t a place on this planet or any other that Ash couldn’t pursue her prey.
