Reddit User Recreates Apex Legends Heirlooms as LEGO Models

While Fortnite players are enjoying LEGO mode, one Apex Legend fan is taking matters into their own hands.

Reddit User Builds LEGO Apex Legends Heirloom Weapons and Guns using Online Model Tool

  • User BattlefrontLEGO created all of the Apex Legends Heirlooms as LEGO Builds using a virtual builder tool.
  • None of the LEGO sets are official and most of the guns would be too fragile to build given their size and weight.
  • It took the creator of the builds over a year to create all of the Apex Legends Heirloom Weapons as LEGOs.

Apex Legends fans have had it rough this past year with some of the events in recent seasons being major let-downs. Meanwhile, the Fortnite fans are thriving with the recent LEGO Fortnite update. But one Apex Legends fan on Reddit isn’t letting that stop them from crossing over Apex Legends with LEGO.

Apex Legends x LEGOs

The r/ApexLegends Reddit has been flooded with several models that user/BattlefrontLEGO has created using an online LEGO builder tool. They started with every available heirloom in Apex Legends and have even built some of the guns such as the R-301 Assault Riffle, the Flatline Heavy Assault Rifle, and the Wingman.

Some of the heirlooms have been recreated in pretty stunning detail, but others such as the Mirage heirloom are clearly LEGO builds which only adds to the charm.

User BattlefrontLEGO and others lament that none of these are available in official sets, but LEGO has done crossovers with competitive video games in the past. LEGO and Overwatch released 9 different sets in 2019 around the popular hero shooter game.

BattlefrontLEGO also points out in a post that some of these builds such as the R-301, likely wouldn’t have the structural integrity needed to be built in real life and would be too heavy. Regardless, it’s easy to see why something like LEGO Fortnite has become so popular when you can build just about anything given the tools.
