Apex Legends' Next Heirloom Recolor is Rumored to be Crypto, Durumi Blade Leaked

The mythic rarity heirlooms and prestige skins are among the most coveted cosmetics in Apex Legends. Since Wraith got hers recolored, EA has found a new way to get players to spend another chunk of change on expensive cosmetics. It seems that Crypto could be next to receive a recolor of his in the form of the Durumi Blade. The heirloom recolor was found by notable Apex Content Creator HYPERMYST on Twitter.
Crypto’s Durumi Blade
Crypto’s original heirloom, the Biwon Blade, has a color palette of green and white. The Durumi Blade sports a red, white, and blue finish, but most notably may also come with a unique finisher.
No other recolor has come with a unique finisher and it is something only currently seen on the Tier 3 Prestige Skin. It’s also important to note that every heirloom recolor so far (Wraith and Revenant) has come with a unique mythic emote and some inspection animations were added since the early heirlooms didn’t have multiple ones like modern heirlooms do.
The question players have is if recolors of heirlooms are now coming with finishers, will Wraith and Revenant be given one? Or is the finisher being given in place of extra inspection animations?
It’s impossible to know until it releases and Wraith and Revenant recolor owners may also just be left in the dark in the same way early Prestige skin holders like Bangalore, and Bloodhounds are in terms of a specialized dive trail.

HYPERMYST mentions in his post on Twitter that the files label the weapon as released during the Lunar New Year Festival event happening on February 6th, just before the window for the next season of Apex Legends.
It’s unconfirmed if Crypto’s recolored Durumi Blade heirloom will be the next recolor or not as rumors have circulated that Octane, Mirage, or even Bloodhound could also be next. It’s worth noting that Crypto’s heirloom has come out far more recently than those three who all lack the same variety of inspection animations as most other modern heirlooms.
